HIRE AGREEMENT

Including Terms and Conditions of Hire

 

COVID-19 NOTICE: The hiring of a bouncy castle is for the use of members of this household only. It is not intended to avoid or ignore Government directives on gatherings or social distancing.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT A CLEANING/DRYING CHARGE OF £40 WILL BE PAYABLE IF WATER IS USED INTENTIONALLY ON ANY CASTLE. THIS INCLUDES SPRINKLERS, HOSE PIPES AND PADDLING POOLS. USE OF ANY OF THE ABOVE ALSO IS A SAFETY RISK AND MAY INVALIDATE ANY LIABILITY COVER.


 

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable. 
 

Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:


1/ This unit has an age limit of 14 years. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment. No adults are to use this Bouncy Castle.


2/ No food or drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and mess.


3/ All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the Bouncy Castle.


4/ No smoking or barbeques near the Bouncy Castle.


5/ Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.


6/ A responsible Adult must supervise the Bouncy Castle at all times.


7/ Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of children using it. Try to avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time.

 

8/ Children Are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

 

9/ No pets, toys or sharp instruments.

 

10/ If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.

 

11/ Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off!

 

12/ Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle as indeed any child who is feeling unwell.

 

13/ Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

 

14/ Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and 
are clothed appropriately.

 

15/ Ensure that an area of 3 feet (1 metre) around the unit is completely clear

 

16/ The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area.

 

17/ In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be vacated but the BLOWER MUST BE LEFT ON. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel after rain has stopped before recommencing use. ANY DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF LETTING THE CASTLE DOWN IN RAIN IS CHARGEABLE UNDER TERM 19.

 

18/ In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately.

 

19/ The hirer accepts 100% liability for any damage or theft of the inflatable whether kept in a secured or non-secured area up to the full replacement cost of the inflatable and associated artwork, mats, blowers, electrical leads, ground sheets and anchoring pegs. Cleaning charges may apply if prohibited substances are allowed on the castle (e.g. food, drink, face paint, string confetti and similar).

 

20/ SPECIAL NOTES FOR INDOOR BOUNCY CASTLES: These castles are for use INDOORS ONLY. You must insure that the area you choose is clear and of big enough size and that you are CLEAR FROM ANY HANGING LIGHTS OR OTHER CEILING OBSTRUCTIONS when inflating and that children are NOT too tall as to hit the ceiling when bouncy. Max height: 1.25 mtr.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations within 7 days of the hire date will be fully chargeable.
 

Cancellations within 14 days of the hire date will incur a 50% charge.
 

Cancellations requested more than 14 days prior will not be subject to any cancellation charge.

Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle do so at their own risk.

 

The person/s or organization hiring this Inflatable equipment will be responsible
for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

 

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

 

Our Company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone 
using this equipment.

 

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable.

 

I HEREBY AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED ABOVE.
